I’m Luisana “Lissie” Albornoz—a foreign-trained lawyer, a U.S. law graduate, and a lifelong learner driven by purpose, discipline, and growth.
After earning my J.D. and LL.M. in International Law at the University of Miami School of Law, I was admitted to the Doctor of Juridical Science (S.J.D.) program — the highest degree in law. I am currently pursuing this doctorate while also preparing to sit for the Florida Bar Exam as the next step in my legal career.
My family is at the center of everything I do. I’m a proud mother of two incredibly talented musicians, and supporting their artistic journey has become one of the greatest joys of my life. Beyond being their mom, I also serve as their booking agent—managing shows, building opportunities, and helping them turn passion into possibility.
I believe that education and creativity transform lives. Outside the legal field, I am an Artist Cake Decorator, creating edible art designed to inspire joy and emotion. I also have some training in Generational Trauma Healing, and I have helped others reconnect with their inner strength and rewrite their personal narratives.
Since childhood, my mother has called me “Wonder Woman.” Today, I embrace that name as a symbol of resilience—but I also believe it belongs to every woman who has fought, endured, and risen above her circumstances.
We are all Wonder Women in our own way.
Through my studies, professional journey, and life experience, I hope to inspire others—especially women—to pursue their goals with courage, believe in their potential, and write the next chapter of their own story.
We learn. We grow. We rise.
Together, we keep moving forward.
