Engaging with my community has always held a special place in my heart. It's not just about giving back; it's about building connections, fostering understanding, and creating a better world for everyone.

Citizen's Police Academy Graduate (Class 51)
In July 2023, I proudly graduated from the Citizen's Police Academy of Miami-Dade County, Class 51. This enriching 16-week course provided me with valuable insights into law enforcement and deepened my appreciation for the commendable work carried out by officers. The experience further solidified my commitment to making a positive impact in the community.

Active Volunteer with My Voice Counts Inc.
I am an active volunteer with My Voice Counts Inc., delivering a report to each of the 435 representatives and 100 senators' offices in Congress, including a census of all doctors and health professionals from Venezuela living in the United States, in support of the Venezuelan Adjustment Act. This experience allowed me to engage with professionals and advocate for the Venezuelan community in the U.S.

Engagement with the HNBA Community
I had the honor of representing the University of Miami Law School as a volunteer at the HNBA's Corporate Counsel Conference & Moot Court Competition held at the Sheraton Grand in Seattle, WA, in March 2024. This experience allowed me to engage with legal professionals, gain insights into corporate law, and contribute to the HNBA community. It further reinforced my commitment to the legal field and my desire to support the Hispanic community through my future legal practice.

 Volunteering with the Florida ACLU
During the winter break, I volunteered with the ACLU, handling shifts on the hotline and interviewing detainees at the Baker Detention Center regarding civil right's violations. This experience allowed me to directly support individuals in detention and advocate for their rights and well-being. 

Why Community Involvement Matters
Community involvement is more than a checkbox on a resume; it's a way of life. These activities matter to me because they enable me to connect with my neighbors, understand the challenges they face, and work together to find solutions. In an era where unity and understanding are paramount, community involvement serves as a bridge between diverse perspectives and backgrounds. My journey as an immigrant has shown me the incredible power of community. It's where strangers become friends, where a helping hand can change lives, and where we collectively shape our future. As an aspiring life coach, I believe in the transformative power of community engagement, and I aim to inspire others to get involved and create positive change.
